Picture Palace - Cinema in Durham City

This image shows an era when films were making a resurgence in the 1980s, whilst battling with new technology of videos etc.  It went by many names since its beginning as the Regal Cinema in 1934, including Robins, Classic, the Essoldo etc.  Many people have fond memories of here and the cafe next door.
