Mod 'n' Cinema - The Odeon, Bishop Auckland

A frontal view of the lovely Odeon, now sadly gone.  Opened 21 November 1938, and closed on 15 October 1983, later to be demolished in April 1995.  The youngsters of today won't know the magic of climbing those steps, the plush red carpeted foyer and staircase, and being served ice-creams at the interval of a film you couldn't see anywhere else!
