The Dun Cow Public House in Durham City.  An historic inn of great importance.  Grade II listed pub, supposedly named after Lindisfarne monks looking for a resting place for St Cuthbert's body, who were directed by a milk maid to Dun Holm (Durham) who was searching for her lost cow.  The pub is said to be haunted.  Parts of it date back to the 15th Century.  A lovely quirky pub, with many original features.
